Dan Farah… man I wish Jesse Michaels or similar, who is much better on speaking about the subject was on that interview. Yeah, it’s Dan’s movie, but I feel like this is semi controlled disclosure. I know Spielberg is also making a fiction movie, Disclosure, so it has synergy. What really stands out to me, even before Bill said it, is The Day The Earth Stood Still reference. He talked about the remake. But the tone is very much it. We are about to get an ultimatum, or worse, for our violent nature and ethics. We have heard that the NHI have radically different moral framework. I also wonder if the “gifts” are to control our path of tech development to either make us less violent in some way, or make our technology predictably defeat-able. |

Not quite dark enough to see the milky way most nights. But does get dark. If you don’t mind camping around the Mothman. |
