I have an F150 3.5 eco with the plastic plug in the plastic oil pan. Amazing….gand torque and it is gtg? Crazy. What are your results? Any issues? |

I drove and changed the oil in a 2014 with the 3.5 EB for 11 years. It didn't have a plastic drain plug but getting to the oil filter was a pain in the ass. I now have a new F150 with the 5.0. The oil filter is in about the same location but is much easier to get to. |

Our 16 has the plastic plug, i guess its fine, nearly 170k miles on it. The plastic pan leaks a little, common issue that can be fixed with an aluminum pan for around 1500 bucks. Doesn't bother me because it leaks less than half a quart in 5k miles and drips into the gravel in our pole barn. |
