So I aquired a mini pc Ryzen 7 7840HS with oculink port, I have an extra 5060 TI 16gb which should be more then enough for this CPU, verse the built in 780m. This sorta going to be a budget steam deck thing I can have in the living room. So what dock would be good for RTX 5 series? Minisforum one or is there something better? I've a few suitable PSU's laying around so not concerned if it comes with built in or not, probably prefer not. |
| Well in case in the future anyones looking for eGPU dock, I went with the minisforum one for $99. Paired with a spare 500w PSU, 5060 is running fine on it, total plug and play. Only wish it were enclosed but I suppose it'll run cooler in the open, now I just need to order some shorter cables to keep it all neat. |
