I have my written part 107 test this week. I have a private fixed wing license but am not current. Been viewing lots of YT vids to see what others have to say but would welcome any suggestions. It's the Remote Pilot certification. You need that certification to fly commercially among other things like fly heavier drones, fly in certain areas and fly over people and vehicles. You can fly recreationally with the TRUST certification. Both certifications require drone registration as well as compliance with the RemoteID transmitter, a type of transponder. There are hefty fines for violations. |
