I have used Pace 4 and Pace 4+ and it by the second or third blade, the spring on the razor is toast and won't hold the blade on my face, it just folds back. I have probably went through a half dozen razors and have a small stack of blades that never get used because the new razor comes with blades. I like the blades, is there a better razor that is compatible, or do I need to switch to a different brand? |

I have been using there blades and handles and I don't think I have ever had a handle break. I probably have 6 in/around the bathroom right now and I usually just throw a few away when I get my next batch or else I would be swimming in them. And yes, all of there blades fit all of their handles. I am sorry you have had such bad luck with them, but I love them! |

On my last two of a 10 pack of the Dorco Pace 4 disposables. These have worked great for me. I just ordered 10 more. They give me a very close shave, best of anything I have used over the years. |

No shit. so are Merkur, sharks, Treets etc Check out this website, he tests the blades somehow (can’t remember) and pretty conclusively determines sharpness & sustained sharpness & what effect the various coatings have. I & most others who’ve tried a bunch of different blades till we found what we liked, found that when you look at his charts the blades you like are all closely grouped together & often have the same coatings. Dang, I use the Dorco for about a month. About that point, I will get a knick or two and it is time to change. My beard is like barbed wire, but the blades hold up very well.
