Cause in KY, we have the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway (DBBB - over 100miles) and the KY Adventure Tour (KAT - about 1000 miles) These unmaintained (well, for the most part. Sometimes the county will fill a deep hole or volunteers will clean up a road) are a tourist attraction. Ranging from something a cross-over SUV could drive, to things that lifted Jeeps on 40" tires struggle with. Does your state have something similar? Not public lands where you can wheel, but actual legitimate on the books county ROADS? Why? Because my insurance will cover damage on roads, and yes these are included (sent pics/videos to my company, said these are roads, they connect small towns in rural KY, will I be covered if there's damage or I total the vehicle or someone gets hurt like on any paved road? Yes. Because they are officially roads listed as county property.)
