I don't have the experience to tell if a 2hp AC vfd should sound like this. It seems a little less smoth that I would expect, but again, I have no idea what to expect of this.

It's a LOT more mill that I want, but the price is attractive compared to $3400 to get a PM30 with no DRO delivered.

That out of balance spinning handle wheel is most of that noise. Remove the handle and vibrations and it and might sound better.
