Can’t find any. Mine has the Uncle Seiko H-Link bracelet and the end links gave way today. Never had that happen on a bracelet before and I have never been a fan of detachable end links that aren’t part of the bracelet. Thought about going with a straight lug replacement bracelet but that just doesn’t look right. And now I don’t wear it tight, wasn’t from pressure from wrist movement.

There is just something inherent in the design of separate end links that allows the spring bar to float a little bit more and more points of pressure on the spring bar than what solid end links would allow - both the ends that go into the lugs as well as the juncture where the separate end links connect with the bracelet. Not sure if that truly makes a difference, but it would seem to me that separate end links would be less secure. Thank you for the insight, much appreciated. |

Happened a couple more times, this time at my office this morning and fortunately it fell off my wrist and onto my desk... so no damage. I fortunately had my watch tools with me at work because I was sizing one of my partner's watches yesterday. Dug through my spare spring bars and found some fat spring bars with wider shoulders. Didn't have calipers with me, but they are probably 20mm. With some effort I was able to get them into the lugs and I think it will solve the problem as there feels like much less slack. Fingers crossed. |
