I've got a Team Associated or Reedy 324-S LiPo battery charger - simple, easy; plug the balance cable in, plug the battery in, charge. However...now it won't charge. I've got 4 different batteries and it won't charge any of them now - no matter how it's set, 1 2 or 3A. I'm not messing with the LiPo/LiFe setting though  It always says like it's charging, the balance cell charge thing lights up...then X hours later all the LEDs start to blink and from the manual it basically means it's got no connection/bad connection. Like I said...it does this for every battery. If it were one battery, fine - but it's all of them, and it all started at once. I don't abuse these things, whenever the low voltage thing goes off in the car I yank the batteries so they shouldn't be under-volted at all, etc. All the batteries are of different ages and usage cycles so even if one pack went bad, for sure the others wouldn't have... Ideas? Do these things actually go bad? I mean it wasn't horribly expensive so if it did go bad, oh well; I spend more on food that I just crap out so whatever I've been kind of meaning to get a better charger anyway, just the reason I got this one was it was cheap and uncomplicated. More expensive ones seem overly complex for what they actually need to do

Only one I have had go bad is an old Turnigy charger that is all fairness was abused. It got to the point that it would only charge 2 cell batts. 3 or 4 cell were no longer working. I use Protek chargers now. |
