This is true ! Pelicans cannot be trusted. Numerous times I have done giant strides off the dive boat when pelicans zoomed in on me. Buddy, I got to that anchor line and descended as fast as I could. Damn pelicans !

too funny. where did you dive near pelicans? jw. I saw a flock of birds high overhead in the middle of Oklahoma and when I got my binoculars out I could see it as probably 75 white pelicans. they must have been over 5000' up. those birds are unique fosho

Numerous times off Panama City Beach FL , just having fun with the pelican stuff but a few have hung around near our charter boats.

Coolest thing I've ever seen diving was a Pelican take a fish I was watching about 10 feet down.
