A dirty cop fabricated a traffic infraction against me falsified the paperwork lied about it multiple times until I proved it was falsified then he admitted in open court that he was wrong but claimed it was an honest mistake and the judge just let it f****** slide! We're only talking about a traffic ticket and we're only talking about $100 but I'm pretty upset about the corruption and collusion. The town I'm in is known for corruption. I reported the issue to his chain of command and they literally laughed at me literally actually laughed and brushed me off. I guess the thing that most upsets me is that the cop admitted that he lied but the judge let it go anyways. Like I said it's only a traffic ticket and it's only $100 but it's not about the $100 it's about the cop that gets away with lying routinely and who else has he f*** over and on what I'm sure more serious structures. I'm super f****** pissed about it. what if anything should I do? |
| You could consult a civil rights attorney but I suspect there isn't a lot to do. One of the problems with the system is that it's very hard to hold them accountable. Even if you only talk about the whole traffic enforcement system where if they say they got you most of the time you are got. It's pretty frustrating. |

Jezzzz… The cop made a mistake and admitted it and you won the case in traffic court That sure sounds like deep seated corruption to me. I’d check Hunter’s laptop and see if the Cartel worked with ISIS on your turn signal bulb. |

You could talk to your state Attorney General's office about a felony perjury complaint. Was this a formal hearing with a prosecutor, or an informal hearing with just you, the perjurer, and the magistrate/judge? |
I think the hardest thing for good LE working for good agencies to really absorb is that there are whole departments full of exactly the complete fuckheads we rail against here. - vectorsc

The judge sided with the cop even after he admitted to lying. |

This happened during the formal court hearing where he made admission and also before. He swore there were no witnesses, there were, he swore he had probable cause, the judge and cop said he didn't really need it so him lying about it on the docs didn't matter, he swore that he personally delivered the charging docks to me but he didn't just another "innocent mistake". |

Is the judge also the former prosecutor? Or just a 'the cop is right, even when he's mistaken' sort of fellow? |

If the judge pushed the lying and perjury further, he'd get into tossing out all the other traffic infractions that were a he said/she said type type of infraction and his proof of lying in court and on the street would be used in every past and future court case and convictions. Judge couldn't do that because he's on the court side even if he's supposed to be ''impartial.'' |

Having been on both sides of this particular topic, I have gone back and forth about responding. Here's my opinion: I'm sorry. I don't see where he admitted he intentionally lied in any of your posts. Also, if your court says they don't need probable cause, it is likely like our courts in TN. Many traffic offenses are not criminal offenses here, but fall into a very gray civil area. This is for the benefit of all. In those cases, the burden of proof is 'more likely than not' the offense occurred as stated in the complaint/summons. While it IS an official, formal court procedure, and crimes can arise out of the court proceedings, 99% of the time it is not handled to the standards of a criminal court, nor should it be. The only thing you've stated so far that would concern me is where you allege the officer swore he delivered 'the charging docs' to you personally, but didn't. I don't have any idea what that means, unless you are saying he didn't give you a copy of your ticket. If it is something else, that was official process, and he did not personally serve you but wrote on the return that he did, that is a Bad Problem for him if you have something semi-impartial, like a doorbell camera that can show he was not there on that time and date. You say he 'fabricated a traffic infraction against you'. If you can prove this... simply appeal it to your county / region criminal court. Get a lawyer, and exhaust that remedy. Did the judge actually, in open court say the judge and cop said he didn't really need it so him lying about it on the docs didn't matter Do you have witnesses to this? Is it possible you misunderstood? If that is factually correct, and you have a witness to it, the state judiciary committee would listen to your complaint. Lying is never acceptable. Did the officer say 'I lied' or did he say words to the effect that maybe there were witnesses, I don't recall now. That's not admission of a lie. Lastly, there is not a city in America that a percentage will readily say isn't known for corruption. All cities are known for corruption. It's like the old saying, "a whore will fuck anybody. A bitch will fuck anybody but you" Good luck. If you have the evidence, and it is how you say it is, and this is the hill you want to die on, all the best to you. Hold them all accountable. |
