Have you seen anything for higher tiers above what’s here? I’m right at the 4 to 5 breakpoint. I will wait for a bit before I extract my aspects to see if I can get gear higher up in the 5 tier. I got an ancestral to drop but unfortunately I can’t use the legendary affix. |

My build calls for running a 1-H weapon for speed so you can regenerate spirit quicker. I’ve got a 2-H mace because that’s what dropped. |

They are the cheapest item and they can only have offensive aspects attached to them. Hence, it's the most efficient way to prioritize the shockwave drop. |

Holy hell. I forgot how addicting RPGs were. Played D1-D2LOD fanatically. Recently played D3 with the missus' Switch. Couldn't get into it. But damn! Is this one fun as heck. Lvl 23 Barb Tier II. Had some Lvl 28 Barb ask me for help killing Astaroth.. Yeah, we spent about 2 hours trying to kill him. When we did, he just vanished. The gloves can have other legendary aspect enhancements on them, i.e., defensive, mobility, etc. Totems can only have offensive aspects so it limits the pool for the RNG when it "creates" the legendary item. |

Dinged 50 last night, finished Act III and got my horse. It was kind of a let down as I still get just as much aggro as before. My BP is getting a bit long in the tooth but it has the aspect that makes my current build work. Hoping to find something worthwhile to swap it over to. Also got lucky and found an event that just kept re-spawning. So, I did it until it stopped, about 5 times. Turned all the obols in for totems and got completely screwed! Mostly blues with 1 rare and 2 non-magic ones. Then my next two mobs of monsters each dropped a legendary totem LOL. I was using 2h weapons but swapped to a 1h+totem for the extra aspect. |

Most times when you log back in the event is there. ![]() Diablo 4 MURMURING OBOL FARM! *500 Obols in 30 mins* |

I swapped the 2H for 1H as well. The pulverize build should have a 1H for optimization. You need to generate spirit so you can use your pulverize. 1H generates spirit much faster. Also, the totem for the extra legendary slaps. I’m using one that makes landslide also happen in my wake. Once I got another shockwave aspect I upgraded my weapon nearly 100 levels and mobs are vanishing again. On the horse, I’m assuming you’re hitting your space bar to sprint through the mobs? It’s a timing thing and you’ll figure it out. Just wait until you hit a road with a barricade and archers. It’s always when you’re racing to get to a world event that’s starting in 2 minutes. |

Here is a link to a map (picture really) that shows each region and where the Mystery Helltide chests can show up. You generally get 2 chests per event (with an exception which I'll note) but there can be between 4 and 6 spawn locations for the chests. What I do is get on my horse and ride to a spot to see if the chest is there...if not go look at the next spot. When I find the chest I pin the location on the map so I can get back to the chest and then go farm cinders. One notable exception...the chests re-spawn/move at the hour mark. For instance if a helltide event runs from 11:45 to 12:15, the chest WILL LIKELY move at 12:00. This is both good and bad. It gives you an opportunity to get 3 or 4 chests during the event. So for instance if you can farm 350 cinders (each chest is 175 cinders to open) before 12...you can open two chests and two more will spawn. The bad side, if you don't get the/a chest open you're going to have to scout after 12:00 to find where they went...but they will always be at one of the spots marked on the map below. https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/helltide-mystery-chest-locations/ Most events the exception isn't an issue but it's something worth noting because I have gone back to where I pinned the chest only to find it gone. Again, this only matters if an event crosses an hour mark, i.e., 1:00, 2:00, 3:00...etc. |

Might be wrong about that though. Your map is way better. ![]() It shows events as well. The event trigger trick posted above doesn't work during a helltide. It does work normally though. That's a super easy way to farm obols and there's usually someone else doing the event as well. The Sorc/Druid combo just rocks with sorcs range and the druid being able to pulverize mobs in the face. They need to do something with the necro ground effects though. |

Finally got two shockwaves, which is great, just wished the percentage was better. My old one was 96% damage before adding it to my two handed weapon and 192% after. The new ones are both 72% or 144% after adding to a two handed weapon. I know first world problems. Lol As for the obols farming above, I actually got it to work with the Helltide event and after. It seems to be spotty at times and I believe it places you in different servers when you log back in. I found a remote spot where I rarely see anyone else and tried farming there. That seemed to work much better. |

That resets it every time for me. Another thing that I’ve learned is people tend to hang out around the mystery chest location. That makes picking up cinders much easier as you can clear more mobs quicker than you can solo. I don’t mind picking up their trash that’s dropped. They also tend to hang out around the events. I’ve spent so much time farming to get another shockwave that I’m not entirely sure what I should be doing now. Seems like farming renown for the upcoming season and a new character may be the thing to do. I’m also curious how you guys are going to trade gear. If we know how I’m more than happy to give legendaries to anyone that needs some. |

It's the same place as the video but after you do that one you go SSW and another one is across the road and up that little hill below the abandoned house SW of town. I just went back and forth between them for a few hours. |

Real time update on where the mystery box is, usually pops up within 1 minute of the tide starting and has always been accurate for me. Also, chests reset on the hour so if the helltide starts at say 15 after the hour, its possible in get up to 6 mystery chests in zone after the hourly reset |

If you are > lvl. 55, tier 1 is easy. |
