Diablo IV (Page 38 of 42)

Jumped in after getting the itch from watching streamers. Not getting the battle pass for the first time; hopefully sends em a message. Things feel better but I'm already back to grinding the same old crap. My big guild only had a couple people back too. Had the new seasonal event glitch out on the final boss multiple times and the final boss simply disappears. But no other problems. Don't forget about the Twitch drops. There's one now for watching a streamer for 3 hours. |

The Battle pass that doesn't unlock the final cosmetic is only 1k. Playing WW barb, wit the intent of dual-spec to Mighty Throw for the bosses. |

Yeah, they said the leveling would be slower, but I hit 60 in two days of casual play. WW barb is pretty good. Getting to the point where I can spin indefinitely and shoot Wanderung Death’s beam all over the map. |

The Duriel fight is a pain in the ass now. He spawns the three twits and now a patch that looks like Lilith’s spiky stuff that follows you. Sometimes, he pops up and goes right back down and you have to deal with the three twits again. In the plus side, Uber Belial mats drop from the apparation events, and he is easy to kill in T1. |

I've started selling yellows and breaking down the legendaries. Cannot upgrade any ilvl800 gear due to missing some item. Still not master-working anything until I can get my build changed over from minion to bloodwave. Just need to get the pants off Zir. |
Still missing 2 aspects for a good Blood Wave build, but I do have the required Zir pants and some ancestrals. No masterworked gear at all. Blasting T4 as long as I have incense and elixirs for max armor and resist ![]() Done with everything already. Now it's just a farming simulator for min/maxing |
| Blood wave wound up being uber strong this season. WW barb is mediocre. MightyThrow is good for bossing, but sucks baaaaad for farming. |

Once I hit 60 and got a set of Kessime's Legacy I went from minion to bloodwave. Minion was a nice one button build but DPS was lacking. Bloodwave is also a single button build but destroys everything. Fastblood is the second most important aspect other than tidal. The build was kinda sucking until fastblood upgraded to 2.10 seconds recovered per blood orb. Now I cast bloodwave and have to wait for the animation to complete rather than wait for it come off cooldown. Now I have to get more health. More health = more overpower dmg. |
Now fellate me, as I eat this expensive ham.

Look, yes, I have banged HUNDREDS of broads. INTERNATIONALLY. But know this - I wrap my rascal, TWO TIMES, cuz I like it to be joyless and without sensation. It's a way of punishing supermodels.

Leveled a Necro to 60, put the barb on hold. Spec’s blood wave, and with crap gear it still destroys everything. Even better than it was in S7. |

| Built a Rouge cause the leveling was easy, didn't even know about the death trap build. Had a Doombringer drop early and looked to see what it was good for. Scrounged up the three uniques to built it pretty quickly. Getting all the CDR to make it work was kind of a bitch. had a second Doombringer drop and then a Seligs and then a Tyrels. Salvaged the seligs and the extra doombringer and burned 50 mil to get another seligs, salvaged that and the spark for the season deal and burned another 50 mil and got a shako with the GA on cooldown. The thing rocks now. I'm only at 150ish and can do a 65 in about 2 minutes. |

Took my Bloodwave necro and gave Blight a try. It burns through trash well enough but holy crap I cannot build any essence at all. If the ultimate was on CD I could not do anything. Changed it up a touch getting rid of the feast aspect. Better but still not as good as the Bloodwave. Still looking for my first mythic of the season. |

Season 9 starts next week and the developer stream is today. I stopped playing around the time I last made a reply in this thread early May after finishing all the seasonal stuff. Looks like S9 is the same old stuff but multiplied. This past season's Boss Powers are just revamped into a "Horadric Spells" system, but now they introduced new socketable gems. The Astaroth boss from the base campaign is now the new seasonal campaign boss, in addition to being a boss at the end of an enhanced Nightmare Dungeon system. Only 6 new unique items. The worst part is they kept the new Reliquary (old Season Pass) system. That's dumb. I'll still play it for a week or so to do the seasonal stuff and move onto another game. I paid for the season pass for 7 seasons and am skipping this one again like I did last season. Just not worth it to me anymore. |

The new reliquary thing is stupid and just a way to bilk us for more money. I get one or two toons to 60, kill the bosses a few times and stop playing. |
| It looks like Hydra Sorc and Thorn Poison Spritborn are going to lead the pack this season. Death Trap Rogue was a blast last season. |

I'll end up doing the same thing I do every season, flush one out to do the season journey, get the pet and wait for the next. I did enjoy the rep/scroll exploit last season to get sparks. I was able to farm up all the mythics I needed to flush out two toons. I'm usually lucky to enough to get two mythic drops in a season. I think I farmed up 10 or 12 last season as a very casual player. I do hope they implement the scroll thing for season rep again this season. |

It didn't last a week before getting reported this time lol. My old one is fine though haha. Changed it to LiberalTears. |

Running a hydra sorc. Enjoying it quite a bit so far. I did find a little "bug" that is amazing. Click on a Nightmare dungeon with the affix Haradrim Strongroom. But do NOT go to the NM dungeon. Instead go to the boss lairs. if you do not get the strongroom indicator, go to another boss lair. I got about 15 strongrooms doing this last night. It works until the original NM dungeon times out. But it only works in Torment obviously. I got my entire seasonal spellbook filled up and a lot of ancestral gear. Even more importantly I got a TON of Escalating Nightmare dungeons. |

You gotta do them anyway while doing escalating NMD's. |

You gotta do them anyway while doing escalating NMD's. Works well. I did this again last night. In about 45 mins I picked up 14 paragon points and two tabs worth of gear. I also have close to 40k phials. I also finally got the amulet for the Hydra build last night. Started to change my levelling build to an endgame build but the endgame build feels much worse than the leveling build. Not liking the whole firewall thing. May switch back and tweak the leveling build a touch. I may try jumping into T2. Did the pit to gain access and I was like damn these mobs are strong! Then I noticed that most of the packs had damage resistance or increased health affix's. The boss dropped before I could get the second hydra down. |

Seasonal Journy Slayer: Master Spellcrafter "ANY spell" sucks bad!! Progress constantly resets back to zero. I did finally complete it though Use Corrosive and Disintegrate in Kor Dragan Barracks. Over and over and over again. Find an elite with Vampiric and just use a minor skill to activate Corrosive and disintegrate. The goal is not to kill the elite but to activate the spell as many times as possible. Hopefully you can get them split off from the rest of the pack, so you only have the one mob to deal with. A bonus is if they do not have other crappy affixes like summoner. I had to actually remove some of my gear and replace it with basic stuff to limit the chances of accidental death to the mob. Took several hours to complete and about 15 deaths (due to now wearing crappy gear in T3). Not every time you use the skill does it actually count. I was at 98/100 for several minutes with one mob while I was able to hit them with the skill many times. It does have an 8 second cool-down. Having the skills not levelled up would probably help a lot. I killed too many of my targets with disintegrate on accident. |
| If anyone gets bored and wants to start a second character, the poison splash pulverize druid is fun. And pretty darn stronk. |

Looks like some really interesting stuff coming in Season 10. Chaos Armor - you can find versions of many uniques that go in different slots. For example, a pair of gloves with the Banished Lord's instead of a necklace. Opens up some interesting builds. And the invulnerable periods they added to all the boss fights are being removed. |

Thank god they are removing that shit from the bosses. Didn't spend all that time building a pipe hittin' toon to dance around with a boss, die already shitbird. Another neat things about the Chaos stuff it always drops with max rolls like the ubers. |
| Druid pulverize is supposed to be the highest damage build of the season. It’s really good in Season 9. Probably going Druid myself. |

Hydra sorc was easy button in Season 9. Pop ice armor, drop hydras, back off and watch everything die. Rinse and repeat. I'm back and forth between puddle druid and ball lightning sorc for Season 10. Probably gonna go puddle druid, since it was fun this season. It was absolutely destroying on the PTR, and all it got were buffs in the post PTR patch notes. Rob2628 has it at the top of the tier list for absolute damage. It actually looks like every class will have at least one strong build this season. |

| I was seriously considering Ball Lightning but It may not be the best for pit pushing. I'm thinking evade Spiritborn for early leveling, while collecting gear for a Touch of Death Spiritborn for leveling glyph's, than switching back to Evade for leveling Paragon. Finish with Touch of Death for the big pit push as the season is ending. |

Got a hydra Sorc to high 40's today. Did they nerf/change whisper events? While farming helltides for the seasonal stuff and whispers, it felt off. edit instead of replying again: made it to paragon 20. The new NMD sigil feature highlighting the sigil if it's a whisper reward is awesome. This hydra Sorc is ridiculous. I have zero stuff masterworked, no gems, no runes, no ancestrals or uniques, and T1 is a joke. |
