This is the first print that I've seen something like this happen on. Attached File Attached File This is the same part and there's a weird vertical line in the inner and outer walls. Is this the seams stacking up? The file came from the sea and was sliced in bambu studio, if that matters. It's printed in basic pla from bambu and printed in the x2d |

Yes that is the seam where each line starts and stops. Unavoidable and especially noticeable on round objects. Aligned will try to align the seam to a sharp corner or edge where it will be better hidden. Random looks like crap IMO. Scarf seams can help hide them but that feature isn't fully matured yet so it can introduce other problems. The seams are the white dots in the preview. Attached File |

That looks great imho. You can change that in Seam section. I think default is 15%, just adjust and test on something and you can really dial it in.

Sweet! I'll poke around in there next time I print something. I'm thinking about getting ambitious and printing a lower with a 1913 rail where the receiver extension should be to use on my 22 upper. I have some bambu pla tough+ or whatever they call it, should that work? |
