Just started a 5 gallon brew bucket of Cream Ale ??. Saw the kit at my local brew supply house and was struck with a wave of nostalgia for my high school days when a 30 of Genny Cream Ale was high falutin! Probably going to start either a lager or a stout in a week or two so it's ready for our reprobate camping trip in June. |

Little Kings cream ale in the 8 oz bottles was deadly. You could drink 4 or 5 watching the news, and then have trouble getting out of the recliner. |

I brewed a Cream Ale on Sunday.. I'm experimenting with fermenting in a corny key with a spunding valve.. First time.. I'm using a 6gl torpedo keg as a fermenter.. Seems I filled the keg a tad too much... Luckily I had a bowl under the spunding valve.. Think next time I attempt to do this, I'll remove the gas post and use a blow off tube.. |

Cream ales are a staple. That's a beer that just about every guest will enjoy. ("what do you have close to a Bud Light?") Also a good summer beer that goes down smoothly. |
