AMain had a little 1:24 UDI cralwer on sale for $67. Kinda neat, though the high gear range in the t-case is stupid fast for its size. The low range is good. This is the base model of this chassis, with only front wheel steering and non-oil shocks.  |

So, I made some mods to that crawler. Added rear tail lights, which also have integrated turn signals, and swapped the rear axle out with another front axle so it has rear steer now. Attached File |

Got sucked back in to crawlers after about a 10 year break from RC. Picked up an HPI Venture 18 Toyota. This thing is awesome. Crawls great right out of the box for being more of a trail rig. With a few mods its fantastic. So far I added: HPI portals Injora 1.3 brass beadlocks Injora 70mm tires Brass servo mount Brass rear diff cover Brass high clearance links Next will be some 59mm shocks and that should be it for a while.
