Worst case scenario for the viewers, nothing happens. Worst case for me, I get dragged screaming into the void while everyone laughs at my dumb ass.

Weird, last time I watched something like this, they brought in an expert that showed the areas that were "scalpel like cuts" were where they had more tender flesh that was easier to eat or deteriorate.... and predators largely wouldn't touch the corpses.
