Usually a valve stem removal tool has schrader on one side and presta on the other. It appears the valve stem is the same as presta diameter so I am dubious of claims about enhanced flows. I've had good luck seating presta valve tubeless tires by pulling the core and using an air compressor hand blower attachment with a rubber tip to shoot right into the valve stem. Wait for the loud pops when the beads seat and release the pressure. Attach stan's syringe (also presta compatible), and fill the tube with desired quantity of sealant. Then install the core, pump up the tire, and take her for a spin to bed the sealant all around. Milwaukee m18 tire inflator comes with a presta adapter too, although I have not yet tried it to seat tubeless tires. Easy peasy. |
