It is I, Multisdew, better known as Big Chungus / Nick. I will be your host and overlord for East 12 this year, as Surveyor is busy becoming the best version of himself. Godspeed to a long time warrior and friend. Gettin edjumacated and such. There are 70 run spots this year, with 10 standby slots as scrubs and weaklings inevitably drop. No special provisions for noobs. If you are a noob and have never come to a Cola War, come on out and show us how much you suck. Generally, have thick skin, and dont be a weirdo. Show up early and ready to run, get with appropriate staff (WhiskersTheCat, etc TBD to get on the list when you arrive, you know the drill) Do not show up and crack a beer to get out of running. THE COURSE: OBSTACLE PEEP RUN SHOOT CHUG GEAR LIST: Rifle w/mags/ammo (60 total rounds or max 2 mags/belts) Pistol w/mags/ammo (42 total rounds or max 2 mags) 6 carbonated beverages If you don’t have something or forget it because you are dumb, ask. Someone will let you use what you need. OVERALL/SITE RULES: Follow all firearms safety rules. Be ready to run as soon as you arrive, no cracking a beer to put your run off to the following day. Once you turn off route 360 and travel through the rural neighborhood on the way to the site entrance road, drive carefully and courteously. These are our neighbors and they will be shown respect in their neighborhood. The road across the dam, past the house, generally sucks. Preferably AWD or 4x4 vehicles only across the dam or up the hill. You can make it in a regular car if you are not a retard. Limited recovery gear (whatever anyone there has on hand) is available to save you. The pond / hill has come very close to claiming a vehicle over the years, only to be saved by the most excellent and capable of east people. Dont make it yours. No handling of firearms after drinking. No airsoft at this event. No shooting outside of the run. No use of IR lasers in or around camp, or on the run trail. No items of a sexual nature, there are kiddos around. Tasteful air humping of inanimate objects in a humorous manner will be tolerated within reason. Do not shoot, harass, pet, trap, or make lewd comments at any wildlife encountered on the property, unless specifically directed by staff. Do not wander off from camp into the wood. You will be eaten by the bears. If you break any of these rules you will be dismembered and thrown in the pond for beaver bait. If you behave like a jackass you will win a free escort by burly men off the property. COURSE RULES: 5 min. penalty for each failed obstacle. Each obstacle must be attempted for at least 10 seconds. 5 min. penalty for each peep uneaten or spit out. 5 min. penalty for each target left un-hit, one hit on each steel target. 10 minute total chug time allowed, any remaining will be penalized. 6 12oz cans, 3 24oz cans or 1 2liter with a 5oz chaser are, or 2 1L with 5 oz chaser the only allowed sizes. If you spew before finishing a 12oz can, no matter how much is left that can is a 5 minute penalty. ANY other size than 6 pack cans, a spew fail is an auto 30 minute penalty. We are not doing math. Cans will be visually verified empty before throwing to the side or spewing. The run portion will be with cleared rifle, cleared pistol and mags. Staged Firearms will be triple checked so make sure it’s cleared. You can throw your pistol and mags in a backpack or utilize a suitable holster. Guns and mags will be stashed at the peep station prior to starting your run. Guns carried on the run will be EMPTY, with NO MAGAZINE inserted. First magazine insert happens ONLY at the shooting box. if staff sees you prep a firearm on the run up the last hill, or you pull a pistol out of a backpack or holster at the shooting stage with a magazine already inserted, you get a 30 minute penalty. IR negligent discharges are a 10 minute penalty. IR may only be used with actively scanning or engaging targets. Call out for Night Vision run if that's what you want to do. Number of night runs at discretion of staff. First come first serve in the signup list. Night runs require a suppressed rifle, unsuppressed pistol is allowed. Those calling +1's must provide a screen name or handle ASAP. No +2's or +3's etc. Range rules and Kitchen information are to follow. Please be thoughtful of camp locations, and ask if in doubt. Hotel/Motel accommodations range from 5 to 25 miles away. There is an RV park about ten minutes away. Please carpool if you can, as space is limited. Please limit trips on and off the property as it causes parking issues, stuck vehicles, and damages the road. If you park at the top of the hill, stay there until you're ready to leave for the weekend unless it's an emergency. You can get with staff if you need anything. Please keep a neat campsite, clean up your trash, and keep food secure. We have bears on the property. No open fires are allowed outside the designated fire pit. No ATV’s, UTV’s, dirt bikes, mini-bikes, wiothout clearing them with me personally before attending. Don’t crap in our woods. Use the porta-johns. Listen to Staff. If you are rude or unsafe you will be asked to leave. All staff has the authority to boot you. After you’re done running, stow your firearms. No mixing of Alcohol and firearms. If you can’t handle your alcohol, please do not drink. You should bring whatever you need to camp if that’s your intention and water to drink, plus a tribute of water to the kitchen. No one will object if you show up with a cooler full of beer to share. Pending funding, it’s our hope to feed everyone through Brodozer’s/ Chungus kitchen. Yall that know the famous kitchen, you know how good it is, so pony up to the donation link. Cash / bourbon / Scotch donations on site to the kitchen are also always appreciated. 1.) If you plan on leaving before the awards ceremony and you want whatever you may have earned, you need to make arrangements with another NON-STAFF Cola Warrior to accept your gear and get it to you. 2.) The leaderboard shows no favoritism. Being signed up does not guarantee you anything. Swag packs and prizes will be awarded top down until they are gone. 3.) To encourage people to show up and run as early as possible, whatever event T-shirts we may have will be distributed first come first serve to people who run the course. They will be available at the range after you've run. It's your responsibility to remember to grab what's allowed. 4.) No prizes will be handed out until the property is clean and all trash is accounted for. There will be no more runs after 11 AM Saturday. People will likely be on-site Wednesday afternoon to run folks early. We’ll confirm this as we get closer or as staff speaks up.
