I went to Italy last year and enjoyed a few cigarillos. I just tried a Macanudo Maduro that was good. I used to enjoy Montecristo, but COVID raise my pallet for bite/spice. I will say I enjoy that lingering taste as much, or more, than smoking itself. I don't want any flavored cigarillos ACID makes then. I tried Red and it's ok, but tastes flavored Any suggestions for brands and sticks to try. |

I assume you're looking for shorter smokes, so I'll at least mention these, even though they're not all cigarillos HVC Hot Cake half corona 3.5 x 44 - the regular Hot Cake is San Andres, they also make the Golden Line in that size which has a CT wrapper Davidoff Winston Churchill and Winston Churchill Late Hour petite panatela - 4 x 38 and they come in tins Davidoff makes several of their lines in a cigarillo size also Drew Estate Papas Fritas - 4 1/2 x 44 - way too big to be a cigarillo, but they're mixed fill so they burn pretty quick Drew Estate Liga Privada coronets - 4 x 32 - you can get them in No. 9 or T52 blends Perdomo Champagne Puritos - 4 x 38 - its a Perdomo Champagne, nothing more needs to be said 2 Guys Cigars has a house brand called Dos Hombres, and they offer a 4 1/2 x 30 in tins, with natural or maduro wrapper, in their Dominican line. They won't blow your skirt up, but they're cheap lol - $80 for 50, 5 tins of 10 |

He said it was a bit lighter than the Maduro, but it tasted bitter to me. Taste is so subjective and COVID really jacked things up with my taste buds. I can now eat jalapenos without my tongue burning, but I sweat bullets  I wonder if I'll like the Undercrown Maduros better. I might have to grab a full size version to try, then order shorter online if I can |

So these are what I had in Italy and I found some locally to try again. I like these and they're simple to acquire. They're a bit long, but thin. 1/2 hour only gets me about half way through. I like that they're not symmetrical. Kinda like smoking an actual stick They aren't very complex either, so I might just cut them. Still open and trying others. Toscano Antico |

They’re not like “regular” cigars that will explode if you try that. The Toscano stuff is excellent btw |

I actually cut one after smoking it a bit. Might not be good, but I didn't see any burn down the center. Next time I'll cut it beforehand |

You're exactly right about that. I brought a couple back with me and just left the in a drawer and they were fine. I do keep them in a desktop humidor now, but they're nice for the golf bag. I also ordered some COA Brazilia. Couldn't find any locally and I recall really liking those |
