While on the train, approaching one of the stops, this young'ish Hispanic guy jumps up and grabs the gold chain off some old lady's neck and ran off the train. That pretty much formed my opinion of big cities, lol |

I was on that red line about three hours later that day. I didn't go that far south though. Watched the Sox destroy the twins. Right as I got back on after the game, an old dude let it an absolute cloud of weed smoke. It was interesting all the way back. The train was packed, so wasn't worried about trouble. |

Shitcago is a fucked up mess. Gold coast is 50% safe on weeknights, less so on weekends Downtown is either completely safe or completely over run. There 4 weeks ago, hotel staff were telling people to avoid windows on the east side of the building below 5th floor.
