Tader shows great promise as a family dog, he loves the kids and people! The unfortunately he cannot be trusted with other male dogs. He is crate trained, needs a bit of supervision in the house as he may chew random items or steal garbage. He wants to be in a lap, I own both parents-English Bull Terriers-kids love him but he has kicked his dad’s ass as well as our much larger bulldog. He has never had an issue with his mother so I “think” he may be ok with other females, he loves car rides and laps. We are struggling with him since he has to be separated from the other boys. He is neutered , and up to date on major immunizations and heart worms. We are very sad to see him go, but the separation required causes him to live a subpar life with us. He is about 18 months old, born in our den. Attached File Attached File |

@dempsy1 It sounds like Tader is trying to be the alpha. There's a thread in GD with a similar story. Read the advice from Naamah (sp?). It involves some disciplinary action and separating the boys while feeding. Snipping his balls may help, too I'll see if I can post a link later.
