I golf right handed, and am left eye dominant. The Odyssey Versa alignment works well, but I'm wanting to try center shafted after sinking a few with a buddies putter. Who's using one? Thoughts? |

Just get a L.A.B. and don't look back. Choose whatever head shape suits your eye and choose your alignment marks and start dropping more putts. I went to the broomstick a couple years ago and while I still think it looks stupid, it is just and better and more stable way to putt. |

I switched from an Odyssey #7 to a LAB DF3 and I'm loving it. If you don't like the price, look for a used one. I've also tried the new Odyssey Square-to-Square putters in a store and they're awesome. I would have bought one if I didn't find the LAB for only $50 more than the Odyssey. I don't even have to think about my swing path or making sure I don't drag the putter, it's just enormously intuitive. There's a good reason more and more LAB putters are showing up in the hands of professionals. |

My thought would be the #7 is too light for a broomstick. Did you add any weight to the head? ETA: I see on Odyssey's site that the broom version is 90 grams heavier in the head. Now it makes sense! |

Do not buy a LAB off the rack. If you are going to spend that much for a putter, then get one that is fitted to you. LAB has a pretty comprehensive fitting program LAB golf store locator |

The whole point of LAB putters is they are balanced to keep the face square to the arc. They should be matched to the lie angle that you putt with. Everyone is different. |

I didn't bring up LAB putters, and, right now, after rolling this Maltby with and without a counterweight in it, I'm not even interested in buying any putter for a while. The counterweight is staying. |
