| Warning , total watch noob here . I just ordered a Casio f91w, I had one when I was 13 or 14 . I'm wanting to get back into wearing a watch but didn't want to spend too much if I find I'm not wearing it. Was watching a video and they were talking about knock off f91w watches . Question is how can I get a Japanese made model ? I'm seeing them made all over Japan , China , Malaysia , Thailand ? |

Buy from a reputable seller on eBay that shows the actual product for sale. If you're wanting a Japanese made one, check the pictures or ask for country of origin. The 5000 series are iterations of the original G-Shock design. I like and recommend the GW-M5610U-1 because of the solar charging and atomic time keeping. |

It's the white clear. https://www.casio.com/us/watches/casio/product.F-91WS-7/ There are whole fanbases for the Casio watches. (And others etc) The F91W is cool. Small. Historical. The m5610 is atomic and solar, and a mm or so smaller than the typical square 5600. The duro is the cheapest reputable 200m dive quartz watch on earth. The casioak, eh, have not been warm to it recently but it also has a fanbase. |

| @WTFShane A few I've picked up are tilt the watch back and forth and the numbers go all 8888 on a fake . The direction of the brushed stainless steel on the back is different .My fake doesn't say Casio on the front. Holding two buttons on a setting screen will show the "CASIo " Easter egg . Packaging , my knock off came in a plain plastic bag with no paperwork and my legit one came in a blue and white Casio display box with paperwork. |

I'd like to see one of these disassembled and compared to a genuine Casio. It sounds like it's possible the factory making the legit models kept the machines running after hours to make some extra units, sans the proper branding, to make some side money. It wouldn't be the first instance of such shenanigans. |

OP You want the other other NASA watch. Casio MRW200  I had been looking at the marathon navigator and clones ... When all of a sudden, it was like I heard a voice ... And of course Casio had the answer all along. All this time, it was available for $20 It's lightweight, the bezel turns, and it's 100m. |
