I can think of at least 5 instances subodai, one of genghis khan’s best generals, was facing a foe, identified internal strife amongst the enemy ranks, turned the dissent into conflict (sometimes causing fighting amongst his foe or causing one faction to leave) then he’d swoop in and kill both sides. Caeser famously did this to the Celtic tribes, khan did it to China, Middle East, Eastern Europe. The strategy works like a charm. The USA has very few real problems. We’re the wealthiest humans to have ever lived. Doesn’t this internal strife feel… encouraged? |

The Romans called it divide et impera. It is being played upon us today. Right v. Left Dem v. Rep. Young v. boomer middle class v. poor racial grounds sexual orientation etc. In reality we all share the same common foe. |
