| My wife is with relatives in Oregon right now, and they're going to sell her a nice truck at a good price. She is wanting to drive it back home to MS. How do we do this legally? It's got expired tags, but there is no lien and she will have the title. Should it be sufficient to add it to our insurance and have her drive it back with the bill of sale, proof of insurance, and title? Or are they going to have to trailer it behind a Uhaul? I do not think I can get it registered in MS without the original title with wet signature, so mailing them a plate isn't an option without it taking 2+ weeks. |
