Wife's car needs new brakes, what are recommended brands. Thinking about getting these. DFC Brakes Any reasons not to buy them? |

Another Power Stop fan. I don’t think they are necessarily the “best” but they are as good as anything else on the market for normal use. If you are racing, towing heavy, or other extreme use, yeah I’d probably look at something else. But for normal people and 99.9% of what we do, they are fine. I always use their fully coated rotors (and drums when I had a vehicle with drum brakes). I don’t like rusty rotors. Definitely use their fully coated rotors if you live in the rust belt. But, I’d use them regardless of where I live. |
