I have a newer Bosh 100 series (model# she4aem2n/34) purchased 12/24 and yesterday it decided it wanted to stop working. Symptoms are weird and I can't find anything online where people are having similar problems, essentially if you press the power button you get lights and sound and can make load selections and press start then it acts like it will start and the >2 hour indicator will light up as is normal for a regular load, then it will within a few seconds go to the <2 hours status then <1 hour status then complete. Very little noise like it isn't trying to do anything, so far to troubleshoot I downloaded their stupid wifi app and hooked the dishwasher in, which it shows up and connects fine and actually shows a very similarly in the app in that you can kick off a run then it will give a normal estimated time then just start taking 10 minutes off every second or so until it hits current time then it says it is done. The app says the system is healthy with no errors or codes, I have tried resetting via holding down the reset button and I have tried flipping the power off for a few hours with no luck. Anyone ever run into this or know where I should go next? We had severe lightning storms on Monday which may or may not be related, I fear the control board may be shot but maybe there is something simple I am overlooking, Bosh wants well over half the cost of the dishwasher just for the control module so my best bet there may be to try to find a used one off of Ebay. |

Other than at Bosch.com, I could not find that model or replacement parts for it. To see if there was a significant cost difference between Bosch and retail parts suppliers, I checked costs for the control units of similar models. They were all about $300 everywhere I checked. |

Yeah, decided not to risk dropping 70% of what I paid for this thing on parts only to have that not fix it so I'll just replace it. Not happy with Bosch though, I know everyone loves them but this is the second one I have had in 12 years that had a very short lifespan before kicking it (but long enough to be out of warranty). |

Did you have electronics related issues with both of them? I'm happy with mine that is 10+ years old. The drying issue is the only complaint I have. |
