Here's some close up from NASA allegedly. To me, it looks like a piece of metal that was ripped off a launch vehicle explosion or similar. Not sure how they know this piece of debris (Well, could be huge, no scale so can't say), but if it's , 20 ft in biggest dimension, I'd classify it as large space junk, most of it is tiny foil bits and the like but this one is bigger. The biggest thing that makes it interesting to me is that NASA has denied the existence of a satellite that's been going around Earth since Gene Cernan (I think it was him, one of the pre-Apollo orbital option testing launches) reported seeing craft moving around, I think all of them did but there was only one that was leaked and I forget who that was stating they were maneuvering and changing directions. If this is the same object that changed direction (Caught on a space shuttle cargo bay live feed by TV Autists in the 90s), then I'm very interested in it, since space junk has no thrust to stay in orbit let alone maneuver. NASA saying it's nothing and then coming out and saying it is something is rather interesting. That's another thing that people don't get about the video quality. Prior to around 2005, basically ALL video was 480i or even 360i with cheap VCR cameras depending on brand and compatibility. HDTV of 720 started broadcasting in 1998 when some TVs were HDTV ready but only over cable, it took a while for the standard definition stations to be shut down in 2006 for the final channel allocations to be made and TVs earlier than 2003 or so were hit and miss on HDTV reception, depended where you lived since it was mostly aimed at larger cities and has short range (compared to the much higher power standard definition). So lots of stuff could be shown and the interlacing and low resolution allowed them to tell us lies and we couldn't argue since the only better way to see it was to be there or hope somebody had Panavision Cameras. TV wasn't in 1080i until 2014, so 1970s-y2k was 480i video, 2004-2014 was 720p as teething was sorted out depending on your TV and location, then 2014 went to 720p and 1080p everywhere. LONG story short, TV could slip a whole lot of detail past you.

Still, the ISS needs to refuel about 4 times a year to maintain it's altitude and people that have been on it say there is all sorts of stuff floating in space, but they have also seen "bugs" that zip and chase like they're kids playing tag just outside our orbit, they only see them when backlit by atmosphere but it's pretty often but they don't talk about it. It's another one of those "Open Secrets" we keep running into, like Hollywood and Kids and abuse and pedophiles. Like the Leonard Cohen song "Everybody Knows". Anyway, my thoughts on it are in the OP but I haven't really looked into it at all beyond hearing about it. I'm sure the orbital mechanics would be handwaviumed away by the ones with a bit too open of a mind for zero point energy and thinking that means space has megawats floating around everywhere if you just know how to put the wires on it. Still, some here might be able to shed light on it, and there might be zero point energy or some vacuum energy we're unaware of that the blown out steel panel look somehow captures and maintains altitude. |

The more I look at it, the more it looks like a 3D Shader model that had a background flopped on after rotating it on the X axis and then degrading video quality down to 144p. So yeah, I THINK we can stick a fork in this unless NASA comes out and states that yes, it's an anomalous object that is perpetually in orbit. The resolution of the short clip matches that of other NASA releases when they're trying to hide stuff. |

The point of contention is how big of change it had on Humans, (archeologist vs anthropologist war) when it was first found/realized, they were still pushing humans were only 6000-ish years old and we evolved from apes to humans in that short of time. After Golbeki Tepe, they've been slowly making history longer while holding on strongly to the entire "out of Africa" humans exploding from one spot quickly, rather than the "big pinch" where humans were reduced to around 1000 people 100,000 years ago, and not all in the same place. Only theories on what caused the die off and survivors, maybe various lived in caves or were high up in mountains to survive and maybe spreading into the various sub-types of humans, the various haplogroups of Asian, Caucasian, Negroid, etc. (After looking up the list, it's gone... I guess those sub-types that described measurable characteristics is now "racist" so we can't speak about Asians as different than Sub Saharan Africans at all). |

There are several versions of the story that go back to the 50's and talk about a radio source that is 13,000 years old. The pictures that get included with the story are 100% a blanket from the ISS. You can watch it float away on video. |

Honestly, the speed change of Oumauma is far more fascinating since it's a huge item and there is complete consensus that something other than a gravity sling was affecting it. The other ones are the "bugs" filmed by ISS people that are up there over a year and see things zipping around in ways no satellite could, changing directions and such. Instead, some small junk or animated thing is claimed to be the "Black Knight Satellite" when in reality, any of the above objects could just as well be that Dark Knight. Then there's the stuff found on the moon and released after action reports from astronauts which is pretty compelling but nobody talks about it, instead the tweets get all the attention. Yes, I know I posted this thread, but kind of for the same reason in the line above - there are far more compelling items up there which are 100% not man made and 100% agreed to exist, yet twits post stuff like this and it gets all the attention. |

If that image is real, it’s not just a piece of sheet metal, as it has a bulge in the middle that extends out past either surface. Also total symmetrical other than it is sort of gull winged The bulged center I doubt is a feature of 50+ year old Soviet or our similar era rocket body/shell construction. |
