I bought this bottle 2 years ago for $149.99 via my state’s liquor lottery drawing. A friend who is a collector and bourbon aficionado has offered to buy it. I’m willing to sell it but I’m seeing prices online from $1,100 to $1,500 pretty much. As a collector, what would be your fair purchase amount for this?

Went to an Old Forester event. They sent a rep, he told stories. They matched up some food with 5 different pours. Pretty much everyone at our table liked the 1910 better than the Bday. Think it was a 2022 bottle. Love bourbon, will never get the hype, and I've had some expensive pours. I stick with bottles under a hundred bucks. |

A guy I work with got one through the lottery as well. I was given an offer of $1000 to pass along to him. He laughed.... How good of a friend is this, that you are trying to squeeze every penny out of? |
