I smoked little cigars for years and just recently decided to switch to my pipes. The last time I smoked them I got my tobacco from the Tinderbox at the local mall. Well, Tinderbox is long gone and so are the malls so I ordered what looked good online. A few of you guys recommended Blood Red Moon Cult so I ordered 8 tins. Let me tell you this tobacco is great, it’s hard to not smoke a whole tin in one day. I’ll continue trying others (Early Morning is pretty good) but Cult is hands down my favorite so far. I haven't fired up the pipe in years. But my go to's were Dunhills' Early Morning Pipe, and Nightcap. I liked mixing them together also to get a milder smoke with the same flavor. Glad to see they making them again Oh and Frog Morton Across the Pond, which was less expensive and tasted like my milder mix of the two above. Sadly this is no longer made |

Everyone has their own personal taste. I didn't care for Cult. However, I love C&D's Rajah's Court and Super Balkan. How much do I love it? I buy Super Balkan in 16 ounce bags, and Rajah's Court in the 8 ounce tins. I have 10 or so tins of other tobacco open right now. None of them scratch the itch. I spent entirely too much money over the past 3 years trying to find something that I like as much or better than my 2 main blends, and nothing else made the cut. |

Cult is ok, but I’m a fan of Boswell’s Cherry Smash I mix it 50/50 with Boswell’s Christmas Cookie for a sweet smoke at the holidays |

As a derail. I'm debating going down the pipe route vs cigars only. Only online place I've ordered from is cigarpage in the past. What's a dependable web site to purchase from for pipe tobacco etc. Thanks guys for any help. |

I don't like my cigars heavy/strong and my wife was going to get me started last year when I turned old lol. But the guys at the shop told her it's better that I came in. Take a look at some of the Boswells offerings. Only issue is that they use no presertavives so the dont seem to get better with age ( dont buy too much at a time or it goes bland lol) Northwoods and Countryside are really good if you like english, If you like aromatics, Boswells Best and Christmas Cookie are decent. Boswell does sell sampler packs so you can try a few before you decide what you like |
