My son would like to participate in a few craft fairs by selling stained wood blocks with Bible verses on them. We would like to make a few hundred of these together. Initially, I was thinking that steel branding stamps might be best, but now as I explore I’m looking into laser engravers to burn and etch the wood blocks. Is this the best option? Are there any particular machines that would be wise to look into? For the record, I’m OK with operating at a loss as I would simply like to use this as a business model for him to understand inflow/outflow, supply cost vs product cost, etc. Thank you all for your help. | Considerably more money but my daughter just got an Xtools D1 pro 40w. She hasnt gotten to use it much yet as we just set it up last weekend, but watching videos there isnt much this thing cant do. I already have a list of ideas for her once she gets the hang of it. |
