I’m looking to revamp my 650B+ bike to a 29er. It’s a 2017 Specialized Fuse Comp 6Fattie. It will be mostly ridden on gravel and some trails. What are the best deals going on 29er wheelsets? I might upgrade from a 1x11 to 1x12 drivetrain at the same time, along with the required shifter & derailer. |

I ended up getting a decent deal on some DT Swiss X1900 wheels. I found myself needing microspline and decided to just upgrade the whole wheelset. They are a ton lighter than my OEMs, but at the end of the day they aren't super expensive so don't expect miracles. Ultimately I wanted modest weight savings, and a good hub. The 370LN is a star ratchet hub so very good. I paid about 575 for the set on Bike Tires Direct a couple months back. |

Where are you in OR. no rotors, I can tape up one rim and probably find mismatched valve stems. might have a Deore 12sp cassette also. Think they are now trade/pending on FB marketplace |

I wasn’t sure how active this section of ARFCOM is, so I appreciate the replies. I know Marketplace, Pinkbike, and eBay have really active MTB sellers but I would prefer new. I see Jensen has some Memorial Day sales. I used to buy a bunch of stuff from Blue Sky Cycling but they’re not around anymore. Even my local bike shop just closed down! |
