We typically smoke a rib roast but the family wants beef tenderloin this year.

When I normally grill one, I have seasoned with SPG and either seared on cast iron and finished indirect until medium rare or just constantly flipped over direct heat until medium rare. Always turns out good on my Primo.

Anything else I should consider?  Different recipes?

Thanks in advance

Love this on prime rib, I imagine it would go great on tenderloin as well.

No reason to get fancy IMO.

It's a good cut of beef, let the beef shine through.  S&P (G if you must) and cook it to the correct temperature however you see fit.
