I am in the middle of building a bed for one of my kids. Solid white oak. I modified the design I found from Ana White. I am in need of mortise bed hardware. I looked on Amazon, all of that hardware looks like trash. Is hardware available that works good and will last? |

I got a set of these from Rockler when I built my bed (actually still need to do the permanent head and footboard, just have something temp now. They are pretty thick pieces of steel. If you are building an heirloom quality bed, I suggest using bed bolts. I've used them on two bed projects and they are solid, no creaks ever. Rockler bed bolts |
