| Do we believe they were abducted by ETs in New Hampshire? Well? |

I've listened to her interviews. The amount of information that she's added over the years is incredible. It's almost like she's remembered more and more with each interview, as new details and stories are added. Almost like, in order to keep the attention going, the story has to get bigger, and bigger, and bigger. To the point that her credibility, questionable to start with, is now severely damaged. But when you listen to Barney's hypnosis sessions....his terror sure sounds legit. |

If they got together before The Flintstones, they get a pass. |

I vaguely remember the movie with James Earl Jones as Barney Hill from when I was a kid. Looked it up. "The UFO incident" with him and Estelle Parsons. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073834/ |

Quoted: Can we get a link or some more info about what the hell the OP is talking about? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barney_and_Betty_Hill Aliens in NH. |

Extraterrestrials are not visiting Earth, they didn’t build Pyramids, mutilate cattle or abduct /probe Humans. There is certainly other life in the Universe. There may even be other sentient life forms. There is even a slim chance that other beings have developed the technology for Interstellar travel. Maybe, I guess. However, the vastness of Space makes it VERY unlikely that anybody is visiting Earth with any regularity. We actually have the technology to detect something like that and it doesn’t involve grainy photos taken by gawking yokels. Frankly, the Universe is just not that interested in us. Get over it

Supposedly Betty Hill drew a star map, based on a map she remembered seeing on the craft she was on. One person worked on figuring out what stars the map showed based on 3D modeling from the perspective of the "travelers". Problem was, the map could not be solved for several years because she drew stars on her map that were unknown on Earth until the late 1960's This was the Zeta Reticuli map.

Quoted: No idea who you’re talking about, but someone named Betty has to be seriously in love to marry a guy named Barney, and vice versa. They predated the Flintstones by over a decade. Good catch though! Edit: Did it actually happen? Who knows? As was stated above, Barney's hypno sessions were pretty damn convincing. Something definitely happened. |

But I believe it. If it wasn't for the hypnotized recall and the map she drew, I would think they were just making up a story or locals fucked with them due to having an interracial relationship |

The Universe is too big for us to be truly alone. But we're very far away in space/time and won't meet any time soon. There's probably a >95% chance we're the only technological species in the Milky Way. Our next neighbor is probably between 1 and 100 galaxies away. Despite how people like to flog the 13.whatever Billion years old the Universe is as the basis to assume there's ancient civilizations out there, truth is that we're early. Way early. So early, Humanity is almost statistically certain to be one of the first on the scene. We're only 5% of the way into the age of stars in the Universe, with 95% of it to go before the last of the longest lived red dwarf stars finally go out. So that alone puts us in the early days. There's a lot of galactic and stellar evolution that had to happen before to get where we are now, assuming that life needs water, carbon, some other elements, and a planet to get started on. The only way we'll meet aliens is if we survive and expand out into the galaxy. And we'll have to last at least 500,000,000 years/.5 Billion, just to allow others to evolve. Sad that it's so lonely right now, but it's far better than being overtaken, or crowded out by anyone else. If we survive and make it, we get to be the insanely powerful and inscrutable ancient races. Nobody is visiting in saucers and butt-probing people. |

Hypothetically, what if the "aliens" aren't from however far away. What if they've been here on earth longer than us? What if they live in a cave system under ground and the entrances are underwater, in antarctica, and other random spots across the globe |

Quoted: Technically God is an alien. Technically, aliens believe in a one true God. It was in a book I read about all the different types of aliens there are. Most believe in the same single God who created everything. Then there's some who are self serving, basically like our satanists, they only care about their self and advancing their species. Then there's the anunaki theory, they would be our creator, according to the story. Genetic modification of neanderthals to make them intelligent enough to use tools and problem solve so they could be slaves to the anunaki Eta: The Extraterrestrial Species Almanac: The Ultimate Guide to Greys, Reptilians, Hybrids, and Nordics Book by Craig Campobasso Attached File |

She had a pink powder on her shirt after the abduction. I can't find anywhere that had the analysis of that pink powder. Also the dude says they stuck a cup over his third leg and extracted jizz but he didn't have an orgasm. Then they probed his chocolate starfish. |

Nope. There are around 8 billion people on this planet. How many claim to have been abducted by aliens or seen alien spacecraft? The internet makes it sounds more prevalent than LGBTQWTFBBQ by percentage of population. I've never met anyone that has seen alien spacecraft or claimed to have been abducted. I've only heard these stories 2nd hand. The old, "I know a guy who saw one" bit. Betty Hill has FOS for her entire life over this. She never saw a set of lights in the sky after she got famous that wasn't an alien ship. It would be nice to not be alone and get the chance to actually learn from a species that has already been through what we're going through. How about some fusion power? They should be far beyond that nugget of tech by now. What would it hurt to give it to us a century or so ahead of our eventual breakthrough? Also, why would they experiment on a species for hundreds or thousands of years with nothing to show for it? They're either the worst scientists in the galaxy or just bored assholes. |

Complete bullshit. Betty Hill was a radical Leftist and UFO nut. She made the whole thing up. And this brings me to the lack of critical thinking skills of UFO believers. On this very forum you have people saying the media lies, Alex Jones is a liar, everybody lies, etc. Yet you will believe some random nutty woman that says she was taken onboard a spaceship piloted by creatures from beyond the moon? WTF is wrong with you people? She lied. They both lied. People lie. |

This was the Zeta Reticuli map.
