My daughter drops her 2 critters off here during the day while she works.  They are a grumpy chihuahua and Harley the hound.  They get along with our 3 weims (except the chihuahua,  they dont get along with anything as near as I can tell).

Harley is all hound and about 1-1/2 years old.  I think he's 1/2 treeing walker and 1/2 something else - (hound, I just don't recall which variety).  Like most hounds he is vocal.  Right now he and the weims have a squirrel treed in a lilac bush in the back yard.  The weims are content to stand guard and watch the little blighter - but Harley is pretty sure EVERYONE in town needs to know about the squirrel. Bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark.  If I was my neighbor, I'd shoot him. For some reason he's barking at this one, he's not adverse to howling when the need arises.

Any way to curb a hounds bark?  I can bring him in, but that just fixes it once.  There will be other squirrels, dogs, walkers, etc.

Bark collars do anything?
