My 3 year old Aussie just doesn't like some people. Men with beards, even if only on TV, will set him off. Anybody else, hit ot miss. Same with other dogs. |

Sounds like a bad mix (we have an Aussie that's a spastic shithead, and two standards). As Osprey recommended, the collars work well. The one problem we had is that you have to have a collar on all dogs, otherwise one will bark and the other gets the correction (beep, vibrate, shock, etc.). Another tool we've started using is a "Doggie Don't Device". It's basically an enclosed stun gun. You hit the button, it makes that loud electric crackling noise, and the dogs all STFU on the spot. |

Across the street, down the street, next door, etc. Got a Sportdog SBC-R for ours. Goes off of the vibration of the bark instead of only the noise. So she doesn’t get corrected by another dog barking. You can set it to automatically increase stim until the dog responds. It works well. |
