They are a rubber stamp for the prosecutor. |

I now know that address by heart. When I pulled up and just as I got out of my car, It sounded like someone was being mauled to death inside the home. I could hear a woman screaming and dogs going at it like the gates of hell had opened. I ran up to the front door with rifle in hand and went directly inside. Lots.of.blood.everywhere. and a really big CC and a medium pit barely being held back by the occupants after a hell of a fight. Mind you, the dogs had nothing to do with the original 911 call, they were reacting to the heightened domestic. When I saw how big the CC was I told the big man holding him that I would shoot the dog if he turned it loose, period. That didn’t make him happy, but he eye screwed my M4 and he must have seen that I meant what I said. The agitation inside the home was a 10 out 10. I’m pretty laid back until it’s go time, it “seemed” really dicey at the time. The son of big man, the problem child with bou coup face tats, had already sewn his chaos and fled into the woods before I got there. I got to be friends with the Corso owner, a 2A guy that had a bad run at life, especially with women. Good guy with some derelict urchin meth abuser kids to top it off. The Corso is actually a pretty human friendly dog, but you wouldn’t have know it that day. I don’t trust that pit tho. Knowing now what I didn’t know then? Shooting the Cane Corse would have been the wrong course of action, but you would have had to have been there to grasp the level of idiocy going on in that home. I love dags, but a dog that size and that muscular will drop you to your knees in debilitating pain if it gets you. Once you are on your knees, thats when your real problems start. I’m not going down that road…I refuse. I’ll shoot my own dogs in a flash if I see them attacking a human that didn’t deserve it. That’s the problem with large strong dogs with big peckers and little brains. They have mondo strength with little ability to tell who’s good and who not. Add bad humans to the mix and you have problems. |

Shooting someone’s pet that’s looking for a treat is something that only the people that live in fear do. I reserve judgement on the officer until I know more, but I’ve never known any officer ever to shoot a mini donkey, if that’s what it was, so I lean towards guilty because I love animals. Shooting anything should be the last resort always. |
