I had to order a SINN link a couple years ago and it took over a month for a single extra link. I had to go through their single US distributor, and it was painful and expensive. Now, my primary watch (a SINN U2 Diver) had the marker at the 12 o'clock position on the rotating bezel pop out and get lost somewhere in WI. Any ideas if this has to be done at SINN or just at one of their US partners? I assume its kind of hand fitting the plastic, and using their special "unbreakable" adhesive (that I broke) by a trained SINN / RGM watchmaker. How long does that take, and how much is that going to run me? My watch is probably 3.5 years old, so it might not be warranty (although breaking a 2,000 Meter diving watch made from Submarine Steel while playing with my dog, on land, seems unacceptable at any reasonable age from new). TY for coming to my TED talk. Those new SINNS do look pretty tempting, but that's what they want me to think. |

| I also have a Sinn U2 watch. A few years ago, it fell out of my pocket onto a tile floor and stopped running. I sent it off to RGM for repair and a cleaning. It has been a few years, so my memory may be off, but I believe they quoted me 6-8 weeks to fix and return and it was actually returned in 4 weeks. It was more accurate when it came back than it was before . I think RGM does excellent work and they were easy to work with. |
