| Lately when I try to use PIA on my Mac (OS 26) it's not able to connect to the PIA server (doesn't matter which one) until I delete the program and reinstall. Even then the connection is very slow. Haven't had this issue before and don't have it when I use it on my iPad (iOS 26). Any suggestions on what to do to fix it? |

I can seem to get to PIA, but I am having a heck of a time with the OpenVPN and Wireguard VPNs that I use to connect back to my home network... Like you, I can't use them from MacOS, but I CAN use them (with the same config files) from iOS... |

I updated to OS 26.1 last night and still no joy. PIA app will not connect to the server and it doesn't allow me to try to switch servers. Every time I try to open it I end up having to delete it and download a new copy of the app. This time after downloading and logging into the app it shut itself down and gave me a pop to report the error. Hopefully PIA will figure it out and post something. Or I switch to a different VPN. |

You can switch the PIA VPN tech from OpenVPN to WireGuard. Have you tried changing that in your setup? From whatever you have now, to the opposite. There are some older, more obsolete OpenVPN settings by default that aren't very trusted by macOS, from what I've found. I don't know if that's the case with PIA or not. |
