Remember this one? Sounded safe to me, wrong. Rumor crashed the stock price. Lucent Technologies became the most widely held stock in the United States in the late 1990s, peaking at over 5 million individual shareholders around 1999. Spun off from AT&T in 1996, its massive shareholder base was largely due to long-term AT&T investors automatically receiving shares in the split, combined with its explosive growth during the dot-com telecom boom. |

| Have held it for YEARS, I really don't pay attention to it. Its one of those stocks to buy, hold and reinvest the dividends and forget. BTW.....I have MANY like this. VZ, CMCSA, lots of utilities and insurance holdings. I have over 100 stock holdings, I can't evaluate them everyday(but I should). |
