I have an S21 that updated 2 days ago and now I can't browse it. If I hook it to my computer and go to windows explore it shows my phone but when I click on the drop down arrow nothing happens except I get a "this folder is empty" message. |

After connecting the phone to a computer, there will be a menu that appears on the phone. Attached File The normal selection is just for USB charging, you can then change it to share files (or some wording as such). Attached File Apparently it's a security thing. |

Well it worked..sort of. It fixes the issue but I have to do it everytime I plug the usb cord in. |

It is considered a security feature to prevent unwanted evil device attacks. I.E. An USB device or keyboard gets plugged in and attempts to copy/write/force execution of malicious code to the system. My Pixel 6a with Graphene does it as does my Tab Active 5 along with my S24FE that I had for work until recently. |
