I got a few pieces of this wood and I think it’s cocobolo wood but I’m not 100%

The big piece is 18.6lbs and measures 18x10x8

Also, it’s covered in wax

Looks like purpleheart.  It'll be dull brown when you cut it until it's exposed to air for a while.

The cut piece in the pic has been exposed for about 3 years now

Both have been covered in wax as well

Cocobolo should sink.  Looks more like PurpleHeart.
