Looking to try making beef jerky on my smoker. Any recommendations for recipes to try?

I've used my pellet grill a few times to make jerky, it's lowest setting is 180⁰.

so have to pay a bit more attention to length of time depending on piece size/thickness.

For me it's easier to use the electric dehydrators, put in and check in 6 to 10 hours hahaha.

Also easier & quicker to use jerky mix packets.

My homemade mix  is soy and teriyaki sauce, course ground black pepper, course corriander, red pepper flakes, onion, garlic, paprika powders, brown sugar.

Sliced is 1/8" to 1/4" thick, thicker bits & pieces I'll pound down to 1/4" or thinner.

Then put in ziploc bag(s), pour enough mix in to cover, lay flat on plate & put in fridge for a day then flip bags for another day.

When I used pellet grill I put meat on square wire racks patted dry then into grill and closed hood.

For dehydrators, meat patted dry on racks, put on top & turned on.
