Operation Bounce House, to my understanding, is basically "corporations hire people to kill immigrants on another planet via drones". He's on record as saying he doesn't want to alienate readers from either side, so at least he has that going for him. |

I’ve just started the first season of the audio immersion so not the best judge. I can’t remember what caused me to think “hummm” in the beginning, but right after seeing the whole drinking critic thing, I came across the aftermath of the 2nd interview in the dungeon and the video. Not sure how to put spoiler tag in so that’s all I’ll say. Nothing to egregious and hasn’t, so far, kept me from continuing. |

Saw this thread a while back, and have to admit the whole idea sounded corny. I came across a copy of the first book, and figured I'd check it out. Entertaining so far. Granted that most firearms would have been destroyed in the "event", it seems that only murderers and nutjobs have guns. Some anti-ICE slant. |

I'm on probably my 6th time through the series now. Some books I've read back-to-back. I'm also listening through with my kids now, and are up to Bedlam Bride. It's addictive. We're going to LITRPG Con in Denver next month. |

They get most of the funny parts without explanation. The more adult stuff opens up an opportunity for dialogue. I was sheltered as a kid. I didn't hear the F-word uttered by an adult until I was probably 13. I was reading Koontz and King at that age, and while not at quite the same level of violence and such, I don't think it's too out of line |

It’s not my issue. I can’t, well, couldn’t, even watch a movie with nudity in it when my Dad was alive. Couldn’t imagine sitting there with him while some of the things that have gone on in the books are being read out loud. Each their own I suppose. |
