My cheapo dinged and dented nerf bars finally died a heroic death saving my FJ. I see All Pro widely recommended without spending all the monies but I hear mixed reports about using them as a step. I like a step to use the roof rack and my wife is small and likes a step. Any input? |

| I cut the old AP sliders off my Tacoma when I rebuilt the frame but they seemed to be holding up well. Make sure your welds on the frame plates are better than the ones on this truck I bought. Never seen bubblegum like this before lol |

I like how far they stick out vs some of the other custom brands. I was able to support half the vehicle weight on them when I took a bad line and got hung up on a large tree root jutting out of the side of a washout. I will see if I can find some pics. Edit: as usual photos never do it justice
