I think I've seen some ARFCOM discussion on Huberman and his ideas on health & wellness.  I've never been able to stay focused on his podcast and have been waiting for his book "PROTOCOLS" to be released, which happened today.

For anyone interested:

He's a smart dude, but sometimes the "Science Bros" can be a bit much.

They're robots, and not everyone can optimize things they way they lay it out.

I'll still read it, but everytime I read a book like this I compare it to Dan John's philosophies, because he just understands how life really can kick you right in the balls, and how you need to kind of steer out of that skid to at least do something productive, even if it's not much.
If you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it.

I agree a lot of the science bro's take things a bit too far. Fitness influencers as well.  Its fine if ALL you do is rest, eat, and workout. And your job is making cool youtube videos/internet content. But if not, its not necessary.

Its really not that difficult man. 150 minutes of cardio per week. 2 hours of heavy lifting/compound lifts per week. 10-20 minutes daily of stretching/mobility work.  Eat primarily lean protein sources, vegetables & fruits. Limit potato's, breads, tortillas, pastas, rice, and sauces. Eliminate sugar as much as possible. Try to get direct sunlight on your body (shirtless) for at least 15-20 minutes per day. Walk around barefoot in the grass, if possible every day. Prioritize quality sleep. Attempt to get at least 8 hours per night.

Just doing those simple things will put you in peak health & physical condition and you'll look & feel better then 99% of men out there. It really is just that simple.
