We've used a regular vacuum sealer for decades and it's finally done so its time to step up. A couple family members own Avid Armor units and all seems well after several years, no issues AFAIK. I came across the Gasbye and it is in the same price range and probably capacity too at $360. It seems to be relatively unknown in the chamber vacuum sealer space based on what I can find on-line anyway. Thought their unit was interesting since it comes with a few spare parts. It won't see daily use so I can't imagine the need to step up in price to something more heavy duty. Also weight and size is a consideration in our kitchen and for the wife to lift & move. It's just the two of us (empty nesters) so this will get used to package left over soups and smoked meats from time to time. Looks like both have a connection for a hose to vac canisters which is something the mop wringer wants. So lay some knowledge on me about chamber vacuum sealers. |
