Yesterday was the 3 year anniversary of this senseless tragedy. After leaving a hockey game last night, I drove by both ambush locations on my way to work and said a little prayer. 
The shooter was truly a piece of shit coward that felt he could just walk up to each officer and ambush them point blank, while they were stopped in their squad cars, and then flee evading a huge manhunt for him...only to turn himself into a conservation officer (unarmed?) out in the middle of nowhere where he knew he wouldn't be shot or even recognized when he walked up to surrender. |
